Appointments to the optical registration board - April-September 2021

The Minister for Health made a number of appointments and re-appointments to the optical registration board between April-September 2021.

Michael Moore was appointed as a representative engaged in the practice of the profession. Ursula Byrne was appointed as a representative of the interest of the general public. Gordon Chambers was appointed as a representative of third level educational establishments involved in the education and training of persons in the practice of the profession. Vincent Roche was re-appointed as a representative of the interest of the general public and Derville Pitcher was re-appointed as a representative involved in the education and training of persons in the practice of the profession.
