Urgent: vaccination update – CHO Areas 3 and 4

As explained in recent updates, some CHO Areas are now using manual procedures to invite healthcare staff for vaccination (sometimes with the HSE portal) and are asking for collated lists of eligible local staff. We have agreed that the AOI will coordinate these local collated lists where required.    

Short deadlines – CHO Areas 3 and 4

So, please ensure that all eligible team members who practise in the following areas and who have not yet been invited for vaccination (including those who are temporarily out of the practice) complete the following surveys:

• CHO 3 – Clare, Limerick, North Tipperary/East Limerick- CHO3 Vaccine Link by 4pm tomorrow (11 March)
• CHO 4 – Kerry, North Cork, North Lee, South Lee, West Cork –  complete this Excel sheet and submit to Angela MacGrath at [email protected] as soon as possible. 

NB. Portal registration also required

For CHO Areas 3 and 4, you and your staff must also be registered on the HSE portal using the following category codes:

• Optometrist: Category 2c
• Dispensing Optician: Category 2f
• Optical/Dispensing Assistant: Category 2f
• Admin support staff/Lab and glazing staff: Category 2g

Correct addresses

As these are work-based programmes, please remind colleagues to register under their work address, not their home address.
